Delete Your Account

Important: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your health data, AI chat history, and account information will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
How to Delete Your Account
Method 1: Through the App (Recommended)
- Open the FemHealth app on your device
- Navigate to Settings → Profile
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- Read the warning message carefully
- Confirm your account deletion
- Enter your password or confirm via Google Sign-In if prompted
Method 2: Email Request
If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion via email:
- Send an email to [email protected]
- Include your account email address in the request
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request" or "Delete My Account"
- We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days
What Gets Deleted
Upon account deletion request, the following data will be permanently deleted within 30 days:
- All health tracking data: Cycle tracking, pregnancy tracking, postpartum recovery data, and toddler development data
- All health entries: Every health entry you have created, including symptoms, mood, pain levels, and other health metrics
- Analytics data: All analytics, insights, and predictions generated from your health data
- AI chat history: All conversations and chat history with the AI assistant
- User account information: Your profile, display name, profile photo, and account settings
- Onboarding data: Medical history, medications, lifestyle factors, and preferences you provided during setup
- App preferences: All app settings, notifications preferences, and customization options
- Usage data: App usage patterns and feature interactions
What May Be Retained
Some data may be retained for legal or compliance purposes:
- Billing and transaction records: Payment information, subscription history, and transaction records are retained as required for financial and tax compliance. This typically includes records for up to 7 years as required by tax laws.
- Legal requirements: Some data may be retained longer if required by applicable laws, regulations, or legal proceedings.
- Anonymized data: We may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you for service improvement purposes.
Data Deletion Timeline
- Account deletion requests: Processed within 30 days of your request
- Immediate actions: Your account will be deactivated immediately upon confirmation, preventing further data collection
- Data removal: All personal and health data will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days
- Backup deletion: Encrypted backups containing your data will be deleted within 90 days
- Inactive accounts: Accounts inactive for 2 years may be automatically deleted
Before You Delete Your Account
Export Your Data
We recommend exporting your health data before deleting your account:
- Open the FemHealth app
- Go to Settings → Data Export
- Generate PDF reports for your health data
- Download and save your data securely
Cancel Active Subscriptions
If you have an active Premium subscription, make sure to cancel it before deleting your account to avoid future charges. You can cancel through the app settings or by contacting support.
Delete Specific Data Without Deleting Account
You can delete specific data types without deleting your entire account:
- Delete individual health entries: You can delete specific health entries through the app
- Clear AI chat history: Clear your AI chat history from the chat settings
- Reset analytics: Reset your analytics data through the analytics settings
